Position Summary

Responsible for fielding referrals of candidates seeking employment with Goodwill who have a barrier. Serves as a resource and linkage between potential candidates, talent acquisition specialists, case managers and other resources, to provide extended supports to ensure successful achievement of employment.

Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)

  1. Conducts outreach and intake for job candidates with disabilities and/or barriers, to support obtaining employment with Goodwill.
  2. Stewards phone inquiries and walk-in job seekers with identified barriers through the intake and/or application process.
  3. As applicable, provides support to associates using a person-centered approach to ensure successful job retention and skill development. Coordinates supports and advocates for the associate's needs.
  4. Collaborates with internal resources such as case management, talent acquisition, career services and human resources to identify relevant supports and convert candidates to associates. Communicate and coordinate efforts with appropriate team members.
  5. Represent Goodwill at a variety of events focused on strategic partnerships to hire individuals with barriers.
  6. Monitors referrals to provide timely reporting and data on candidates' status.
  7. Completes and reviews intake data, case notes, and other documentation in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner. Maintains program files in accordance with CARF, Source America, DOL and other agency standards.
  8. As needed, provides reporting and metrics to appropriate stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1-3 Years' experience in a related field preferred.

  • Social work or other related credential preferred.

  • Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.

  • Required to pass state and federal criminal background and sex offender checks. Depending upon contract specifications, may also be required to pass CPS and LEIE background checks and other background checks as necessary.

  • Ability to operate PC and databases, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
