We are currently looking for 'Manufacturing Engineer 3 – Battery, Drive Unit (Bilingual in Chinese and English)' to support one of our clients with the following skills:
Requirement:

- Will be working directly with the production teams
- Must have experience with or similar to other Automotive OEM'S like our client
- 5 year minimum experience required.
- Must - built and designed and must have experience with manufacturing equipments and process
- Must have experience building and designing manufacturing equipments
- Must have strong experience in the core experience space and must have battery experience as well
- Root cause analysis with respect to equipments and providing analysis of performance (OEM) is very important MUST-HAVE
Job Description:
• Daily schedule and OT estimate: 8am-5pm PST, Mon-Fri (OT as needed)

Job Description:
The main function of a Manufacturing Engineer is to apply engineering theory and principles to problems of industrial layout or manufacturing production. A typical manufacturing engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints.
Job Responsibilities:
• Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
• Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
• Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
Skills:
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Team player and detail oriented.
• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5-7 years of experience required.
The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $68 - $73 per hour on W2.
