The Role

As a Software Engineer at eBots, you will be responsible for developing low latency, high performance software for our autonomous assembly robots. You will develop software for computer vision, electrical, and robotics teams. A candidate should show ownership of the execution and evangelism of their projects, pushing their creation to deployment. They should be a multitasker who can excel in a fast-moving environment, a fast learner eager to learn new technologies, and a team worker willing to help others.

You Will

  • Develop production-grade robotic software for next-generation industrial systems.
  • Design abstractions and APIs for testability, maintainability, scalability, and usability.
  • Develop software to enable multiple robots to work collaboratively and safely.

You Have

  • BS in Computer Science, Robotics, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer writing production-quality code.
  • A solid foundation in Software Engineering and proficient in Modern C++ and Python.
  • Familiarity with ROS and CUDA.
  • Experience in the design and architecture of performance critical software.
  • Experience in docker and build systems such as CMake.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a variety of technical areas outside your comfort zone.

Bonus If You Have

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related fields.
  • Experience with computer vision and machine learning.
  • Experience working with robotic systems including robotic arms, cameras, and grippers.
  • Experience with Linux low-level drivers.
  • Experience with QT.
