Job Description

As a Security Officer - Commercial Center Patrol - Full Time in Brisbane, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and logging visitors and contractors as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with security-related emergencies and communicate with appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Answer questions and provide information to visitors and staff regarding building procedures and directions.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
