What has been a sleepy industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.About the role:Mytra's Software team is looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to develop and scale the core services that power our system. These services translate a user's high-level intentions into precise system commands, track the system state via async messaging events, and update user requests accordingly and efficiently. This involves systems that ensure reliable, scalable, and secure operations within our flexible industrial automation system. In this role you will work cross-functionally with software and firmware engineers to develop critical command and control functionality. Our team is focused on the development of functional, reliable, and performant software. You'll contribute to the long term success of Mytra's core software stack by leading the development storage planning and system optimization functionality.Responsibilities:Lead the development of software that powers our systemDevelop automated tests to ensure high-quality software releases and accurate functionalityWork closely with the firmware team to ensure seamless service to bot integrationDeliver high-quality code in a variety of hardware and cloud environmentsDesign, implement, test, and document softwareQualifications:Strong experience with common backend languages, preferably PythonExperience developing highly available, high reliability systemsFamiliarity with unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and HIL testingExcellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsSense of ownership and a collaborative approach to developing software within a teamIterative approach to software developmentDesire to continue learning and growingGit experienceA Final Note:You're encouraged to apply even if you can't take on every example project in its totality.
