Men's Ministry Coordinator

Job Summary 

Under the direction of the Assistant Pastor, and in accordance with the Cornerstone Chapel Articles of Faith, the Men's Ministry Coordinator will be an individual with a heart to serve men through sharing the love of Christ. The primary responsibilities of the role include mentoring other believers, organizing and coordinating events for the ministry, and scheduling/arranging teams of volunteers. Administrative tasks will be required (i.e., expense tracking, scheduling). He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • High School Degree required; bachelor's or associate degree preferred

Experience

  • 2-3 years relevant experience in working or serving in ministry

Certifications / Licenses

  • Successful completion of a background check

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Possesses a deep understanding of Christian principles
  • Strong leader
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • A team player with a collaborative and flexible attitude
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Technologies

  • Basic computer literacy
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Able to learn and adapt to new systems (e.g. Planning Center, Rock, etc.)

Physical Capabilities

  • Able to perform seated desk work at a computer
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to participate in occasional physical activities

  • Coordinates teams of volunteers for events
  • Assists in creating a comprehensive plan of yearly events for small groups, bible studies, social gatherings, and retreats
