Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Evening RN Supervisor
to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the evening shift to ensure high standards of care, safety, and compliance with state and facility guidelines. Your leadership will contribute to the overall quality of life and care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate application of infection control practices.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Assessment (Q.A.A.) initiatives.
  • Utilize the Quality Life Practice Guide Manual to identify and monitor patient programs.
  • Notify appropriate departments of patient changes (room changes, new admissions, discharges, etc.).
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and health conditions.
  • Appropriately locate and use emergency equipment when needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments timely and per facility policies.
  • Accurately receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
  • Conduct rounds with physicians as necessary.
  • Document all care and patient progress in a clear and informative manner.
  • Report incidents and accidents in accordance with facility policy.
  • Identify and report changes in patient condition to supervisors, physicians, and family.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
