Job Description - Sales Supervisor - FULL TIME

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

Sales Generation:

  • Meet personal and store sales goals
  • Provide elevated levels of sales and client service to maximize sales performance
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise
  • Comply with all sales related policies and procedures
  • Assist Manager in developing events/incentives that will continue to increase the customers

Customer Service:

  • Provide the highest level of customer service
  • Maintain constant client communication through utilizing the client books
  • Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively
  • Assess customer needs, answer customer questions
  • Provide appropriate product recommendations

Operations:

  • Ensure facility maintenance, presentation and organization is up to standards
  • Process merchandise returns
  • Ensures store schedules are met by employees
  • Ensure cash control procedures are properly followed including; bank deposits, drawer funds and petty cash
  • · Assist in inventory
  • · Ensure deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner
  • Monitor the movement of all inventory and ensure that staff adheres to all shipping/receiving policies and procedures
  • Understand in store promotions and special orders to communicate with customers
  • Ensure all opening and closing tasks are completed
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory
  • Ability to push, pull and lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking and moving around the store

Merchandising/Visual:

  • Implement and maintain all merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategies
  • Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized and reflects the correct visual image at all times
  • Ensure presentation of all displays, fixtures and all visual areas are reflective of current visual direction. Identify and communicate product concerns in the timely manner
  • Communicate inventory needs to support the business goal
  • Ensure merchandise is presented following corporate visual, marketing and operational standards

Human Resources:

  • Training sales supervisors
  • Assist in recruiting
  • Assisting new hires

Skills:

  • 1-2 years in retail management
  • Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sales system, Work, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to thrive within a high paced environment, multi-tasks with ease while maintaining a balance of daily responsibilities
  • Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
