We are seeking a talented Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role provides entry-level support to the Accounting Department and is responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The Accounting Assistant will work under the supervision of senior accounting staff and will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses a basic understanding of accounting best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support accounts receivable functions, including invoice entry, payment processing, and tracking.
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and documentation.
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
  • Process accounts payable, overhead invoices, and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Enter data directly into the CRM and QuickBooks systems.
  • Assist with other general accounting support functions as needed.
  • Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person with clients and vendors.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the accounting team as required.
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls and front desk traffic.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.) and QuickBooks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bilingual in Korean preferred.
