Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to operate various warehouse equipment, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Duties

  • Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and order pickers.
  • Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse manager to optimize warehouse management systems and improve operational efficiency.
  • Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for materials handling and order fulfillment.
  • Participate in regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts and order pickers is essential.
  • Knowledge of mechanical operations related to warehouse equipment is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for stocking and order picking tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Basic understanding of construction or manufacturing processes is advantageous.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures within the warehouse setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
