Warehouse Associate

General Description of Function:

A warehouse associate will be tasked with moving and transporting product with a pallet jack and forklift daily.

This Associate will be a part of a high performing team and will be expected to maintain a culture of excellence and accountability.

This Associate will work in a fast-paced environment and will have the ability to lift more than 50 pounds.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

A Warehouse Associate may be assigned one or all the following tasks:

· Greet drivers practicing excellent customer service. Collect and record lumping fees as required.

· Treat all fellow associates with respect.

· Obtain and maintain safety certifications required for operation of equipment.

· Operating a pallet jack and forklift to safely load and unload trucks and containers of product.

· Operating a pallet jack and forklift safely pull orders, place orders in position and move product throughout the warehouse.

· Wrap pallets, labeling cases, and conducting accurate count of product prior to loading.

· Unloading floor loaded containers by hand.

· Restacking damaged pallets when necessary.

· Record product weights by scanning or by hand.

· Ensure the correct product is pulled by checking that the product code and vendor label match up. Scan weight correctly.

· Arrive at or before your scheduled start time.

· Maintain consistent daily attendance.

· Standing, reaching, pulling, and lifting for extended periods of time.

· Maintain clean and safe workspace.

· All other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
