Commercial Insurance Account Manager
for a well-established client in the insurance and risk management industry. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse book of commercial accounts while delivering best-in-class service and building lasting relationships with clients, carriers, and producers. The
Commercial Insurance Account Manager
plays a key part in maintaining client satisfaction, ensuring policy accuracy, and supporting long-term business growth for a nationally recognized firm with a strong reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial lines clients, delivering superior service and technical expertise.
  • Manage the full renewal process, coordinating with clients and carriers to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and account changes.
  • Prepare and process certificates, binders, endorsements, and other client documentation.
  • Analyze coverage terms, exposures, and policy gaps, recommending solutions that meet client needs.
  • Manage quoting and renewal submissions, ensuring accurate data and compliance with carrier requirements.
  • Review and negotiate carrier quotations to secure optimal terms and pricing.
  • Prepare and present professional proposals for client review and approval.
  • Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and carriers to execute renewal and placement strategies.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client files within the agency management system.
  • Stay current on market trends, insurance regulations, and product knowledge.
  • Mentor new team members and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance account management or client service experience.
  • Active Property & Casualty License required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial Property & Casualty coverages, forms, and markets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing renewals, placements, and client relationships.
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems preferred.
  • Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, AU, or AINS preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
