Role DescriptionEvoTech is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to design, implement, and maintain customized SharePoint solutions that enhance collaboration and efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, configuring, and optimizing SharePoint environments—ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with company branding and user needs.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive solutions that support business processes, automate workflows, and integrate with other enterprise applications. The candidate should have a strong technical foundation, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
This position is on-site in San Antonio, Texas, with the ability to telework at management discretion.
Responsibilities:Develop custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, PowerShell, and related tools.Create and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces leveraging SPFx, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.Customize SharePoint sites to align with EvoTech's branding and user requirements.Implement custom themes, master pages, and layouts to enhance usability and consistency.Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).Support workflow automation using Nintex or similar tools to streamline business processes.Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for SharePoint environments.Conduct regular system updates, patches, and security reviews.Ensure system uptime, reliability, and compliance with EvoTech's IT standards.Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials for users and administrators.Stay current with new SharePoint features, updates, and best practices.Identify opportunities to enhance usability, collaboration, and integration across the enterprise.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3–5 years of professional experience in SharePoint development and administration.Proficiency in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2013/2016/2019.Strong experience with SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, PowerShell, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).Experience with Nintex or other workflow automation tools.Understanding of SQL Server, Active Directory, and IIS.Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, performance, and security.Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or related certification.Experience with Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Azure services.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.Working ConditionsThis role is on-site in San Antonio, Texas, with the ability to telework at management discretion. Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines. The position involves frequent collaboration, system configuration, and extended computer use. Limited travel may be required for company or client support activities.
