Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for a professional Human Resources and Office Coordinator to support the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at a DC-based association. This role provides a wide range of HR and office services support, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and coordinating office operations. The Coordinator will also assist with planning staff events, managing vendors, and ensuring smooth daily office functioning. This is a temporary opportunity and is available immediately

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes
  • Assist with administering staff benefit programs and maintaining personnel records
  • Prepare reports, organizational charts, and HR communications
  • Coordinate training opportunities, staff intranet, and HR newsletter
  • Manage office supply orders, deliveries, and equipment requests
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage inventory
  • Assist with planning organization-wide events and activities

Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years of combined HR and office management experience
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems
  • Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
