Job Description

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Specialist in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic tech location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to any concerns. You will be responsible for coordinating communications, facilitating access control, and delivering exceptional customer service to all staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and manage dispatch communications, coordinating with personnel throughout the location to facilitate prompt response to situations as they arise.
• Document and report all incidents, dispatch calls, and unusual circumstances according to site-specific protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and logging visitor and vendor information as required.
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients via radio, telephone, and/or other systems to relay critical information and updates.
• Support regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter by coordinating with on-site personnel.
• Maintain awareness of all ongoing events and activities within the location to help to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
