Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer with strong computer and technology skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining site security, completing reports using Microsoft Word and Excel, and communicating effectively via email. Candidates must have dependable transportation and the ability to adapt to technology-based systems such as surveillance cameras, electronic logs, and mobile reporting tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Use computer systems to write detailed incident and daily activity reports.
  • Communicate with supervisors and clients via Microsoft Outlook and other email platforms.
  • Maintain logs and documentation in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Operate security cameras and other electronic monitoring systems efficiently.
  • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents professionally.
  • Follow post orders and company procedures accurately.
  • Ensure reliable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and handle situations calmly and professionally.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new digital systems.
  • Valid security license or guard card (if required by state).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
