Full Job Description

Are you ready to work? We are seeking candidates that have recent experience in an insurance agency with a strong emphasis on outbound sales activity. Our insurance agency is excited to hire qualified insurance sales professionals. This is an opportunity to join our team of licensed professionals.

Primary duties and responsibilities include cross-selling existing customers, as well as new business development. The Ideal candidate is money and goal motivated and comfortable closing business via telephone.

Licensed Insurance Sales Representative Required Core Competencies

  • Capable of closing a minimum of 30K in written property and casualty premium per month
  • Requires the ability to attract new property and casualty business customers over the phone.
  • The ability to build a customer relationship during the initial interaction by having the right attitude, showing concern, asking relevant questions, and provide prompt service.
  • Experience or strong willingness to develop key relationships and market our products within community organizations and the local business community

  • Identify and qualify property and casualty sales leads generated from variety of sources, including:

  • Networking

  • Referrals
  • Marketing
  • Present, explain and close a sale using consultative approach to understand clients' needs and goals
  • Calling, presenting and selling a variety of carriers insurance products and services
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to perform a client-focused needs analysis
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Setting sales goals and executing the plan to achieve those goals on a daily basis
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various windows applications, a plus
  • Must have passion, high level of initiative, autonomy and be self-motivated

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $55, $65,000.00 per year
