Role Responsibilities

Responsible for the security and protection of the credit unions assets at all times, through careful monitoring, risk mitigation and safety practices, while satisfying member's financial needs through research and account analysis in the following areas. In addition, this individual will work directly with the IRS, State Comptroller and Attorney General's office, while ensuring compliance with Regulation CC guidelines and Texas Trust Credit Union policies and procedures:

  • Provide research, investigation, reconstruction and resolution of member inquiries and disputes;

  • Process research requests involving daily business activity; statements, subpoena's, corporate and member check copies;

  • Provide resolution for ACH and Check research requests, to include the processing of Corporate Check Stop Pays;

  • Process encoding error inquiries, to include submission of adjustments to the Federal Reserve Bank;

  • Responsible for Levy's, Freezes, Child Support Liens, Garnishments and Receivership Orders;

  • Process all Verification of Deposits and SSA Asset Verification Requests;

  • Daily processing of eOscar share queue to ensure all disputes are responded to accurately and timely in accordance with the FCRA;

  • Track department production and generate department reports as needed;

  • Responsible for ongoing development and documentation of new and existing processes;

  • Assist credit union employees and members with all deposit services related inquiries received via phone, email, Teams or KBox request;

  • Serves as a backup for any and all other functions in Deposit Services and Operations as needed;

  • Presents a helpful and positive attitude, focusing on solutions and promoting a collaborative environment at all times;

  • Comply with established regulations and law requirements;

  • Perform various other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
  • Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a financial institution is preferred;
Skills, Education and/or Certifications Required
  • High school graduate, High school graduate with equivalent or demonstrated qualifying experience;
  • Preferred knowledge of industry-standard software and systems related to card services;
  • Must be capable of performing in a fast-paced office environment;
  • Requires an organized, detail-oriented self-starter who is able to work independently;
  • Preferred working knowledge of current Windows Office Software;
  • Confidentiality of information and security of records are required;
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality;
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to member satisfaction;
  • Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with both internal and external members;
  • Ability to work Saturdays based on the business needs.
