Overview

We are seeking Pizza Cooks who are reliable, responsible, and ready to learn how to join our customer service-focused, team-based kitchen staff. Must have a background in food handling and preparation, with a focus on producing quality pizzas, calzones, and strombolis that our neighborhood has come to love. Candidates with less than six months of preparing hand-tossed pizzas need not apply. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently while communicating effectively in a fast-paced environment. Seeking someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff - we all work multiple positions in a small space to produce big flavor. Our unique environment requires every employee to be ready to help out where help is needed the most.
  • Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality food service to clients.
  • Show up on time, be ready to accomplish all daily goals, and have fun while working hard to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Proven experience in a restaurant or food industry setting as a pizza cook
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A passion for Good food
