The Role - Product Sales Specialist. The Product Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales by promoting, presenting, and positioning the company's products to prospective and existing clients. This role involves deep product knowledge, strategic sales planning, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a product expert to educate customers on features, benefits, and applications.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and lead generation.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and trainings for clients and partners.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and customer success teams to refine messaging and improve customer experience.
- Understand clients' business needs and provide tailored product solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM software.
- Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record in B2B or product-based sales (1+ years).
- Proven ability to develop knowledge of the product and/or industry sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
- Proficient with CRM and sales productivity tools.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
