Seeds That Grow Inc is looking for Therapeutic Foster Home Recruiters for our Treatment Foster Care Program. Additionally, Recruiter will recruit a select number of homes to specialize in treating children with intellectual developmental disorder and medically fragile concerns. Recruiter will recruit homes and train foster parents. This position reports directly to the CEO and Program Manager for the company.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Education/Training: A Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' related experience normally required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • SAFE home study certification
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • IMPACT trainer certification preferred.
  • Previous recruitment and licensing experienced preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for recruiting, developing and maintaining a pool of prepared Treatment Foster families to meet the needs of children referred to or waiting for foster care families.
  • Accepts telephone calls from potential applicants and shares program information while collecting information indicating the appropriateness of the applicant.
  • Schedules and conducts monthly orientation sessions either in office or community.
  • This position will be focused on training and completing home studies in the Albany and surrounding areas

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
