Anne Barge is currently seeking a full time quality control assistant for our growing team This position is ideal for entry level candidates who are comfortable standing for long periods of time, packing/unpacking boxes and know how to iron/steam gowns. The Quality Control Assistant is responsible for checking production bridal and evening gowns to ensure that the highest quality standards are met for each gown before it ships to our retailer or bride. The ideal candidate must:

  • Visually and physically review production gowns to ensure size, construction, and other quality standards are met
  • Perform basic corrections to gowns as needed (hand sewing)
  • Manually log records and document gowns that have been reviewed
  • Communicate with QC Coordinators regarding quality findings and other pertinent information
  • Collaborate with production team to ensure gowns are meeting established standards to customers in a timely manner
  • Unpack shipments from factories and process necessary paperwork to go with each order
  • Assist the shipping department with preparing shipments to be sent to retail stores and brides.
  • Steam and/or press gowns and accessories

Ability to sew on sewing machine is a plus

Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Friday 9:00am-1:00pm
