Automotive Technicians All Levels – Chrysler (Oct 2025)

Lester Glenn Auto Group one of the largest private dealership groups in New Jersey is looking for motivated, people friendly, & goal oriented experienced Automotive Service Technicians for our NEW Chrysler Service Department location in Toms River, NJ. The Technicians will be working in a new Service Department, with Air Condition and with brand new equipment and special Service Tools as they will be responsible for the actual service and/or repair of vehicles assigned to them by service management or their designated representatives. Our Chrysler Service Department is a Union Shop.

Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
  • Perform Routine inspections , system diagnostics, full automotive troubleshooting and testing
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made and provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs

Requirements:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Previous experience as an automotive technician required (ASE certification preferred)
  • Chrysler experience pref.
  • Solid mechanical skills
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record
