We are seeking dedicated and professional drivers to transport patients safely and comfortably to medical appointments, facilities, therapies, and community destinations - in a caring, compassionate way The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent driving skills, compassion, and familiarity with vehicle adaptations and compliance standards. They must also ENJOY working with senior or disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

-Safely operate wheelchair vans or other vehicles ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

-Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any inquiries or concerns during transit.

-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.

-Manage schedules effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures at all designated stops.

-Assist with heavy lifting of luggage or packages as needed during deliveries or passenger transport.

-Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road.

-Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for the vehicles operated.

Qualifications

-Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, or in a similar driving role.

-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is a plus.

-Experience in paratransit, school bus, shuttle bus, wheelchiar vans or other forms of transit where patience and professionalism are essential.

-Ability to manage and resolve any issues that may arise from various passenger needs.

-Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.

-Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.

-Capable of heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading cargo.
