Job Description

As a Security Guard - Residential Patrol Driver in Deerfield Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the community. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the residential property, verifying identification and credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors as per site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents and guests with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, responding appropriately to various situations and emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any unusual observations.
• Document all activities, incidents, and observations in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities when necessary to address security-related concerns at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
