Overview

Regional wine distributor has an immediate opening for a full-time Accounting & Benefits Manager. Position requires a working knowledge of the bookkeeping, financial, and operational needs of a small distribution business. Current revenues exceed $2 Million; we have 9 employees, and we distribute over 700 products in Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Position Description – Accounting Management

Prepare Purchase Orders and Invoices, and perform all entries for Accounts Receivable, Payable, and General Ledger transactions using QuickBooks

Prepare semi-monthly payroll and process payroll taxes

Prepare quarterly and annual tax forms

Perform monthly closing, bank reconciliation, and prepare financial statements

Prepare a variety of weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports

Prepare weekly inventory reports

Benefits Management

Review annual insurance plan options and communicate changes to employees

Retirement plan administration

Assist with onboarding new hires

Operations Support

Enter data to register products with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board

Assist with preparation of the monthly Delaware Beverage Guide

Prepare Bills of Lading for third party shipments

Monitor logistics and report delivery schedules to staff

Competencies

Knowledge of accounting and use of QuickBooks or similar system is required

Shows initiative and has ability to work independently as well as with a team

Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task to meet deadlines

Detail-oriented with strong written, verbal, math, and interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills

Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus

Interest in and a basic knowledge of wine is helpful

Pay: $58, $70,948.71 per year
