Intellectual Property Associate — Mid-Sized Firm

Our client, a respected mid-sized firm, is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate with three to five years of experience inside a busy IP practice, preferably at a mid-sized or boutique firm. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the group chair and their team within a firm widely regarded for its commitment to associate engagement, development, and promotion.
You will be handling a broad mix of intellectual property matters, including trademark and trade dress issues, patent and trademark litigation support, IP portfolio management, and commercial IP strategy. The associate will be involved with prosecution work, litigation preparation, enforcement initiatives, licensing agreements, and multi-jurisdictional brand-protection programs.
The firms' ideal candidate brings strong writing, analytical, and research capabilities; familiarity with prosecution workflows or litigation support; and the ability to manage complex IP tasks with accuracy and sound judgment. Experience with filings, global IP portfolio coordination, enforcement efforts, or commercial IP agreements is preferred. Prior involvement in anti-counterfeiting or trade-secret matters will be viewed favorably.
This position offers meaningful exposure, working directly with clients and their teams, as well as close collaboration with internal team members. Matters span industries such as technology, consumer products, life sciences, entertainment, and manufacturing, providing a steady flow of varied and substantive assignments.
