HME Inside Sales Representative
Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule: Hybrid Work Model
Base Pay Range: $32.06 – $42.74 – $53.43 per hour
Budgeted Rate: $32.06 per hour
Bonus: Eligible for annual performance bonus
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated HME Inside Sales Representative to drive new account development and expand business within existing accounts classified as Home Medical Equipment (HME) providers, Resellers, and Independent Retail Pharmacies. This role focuses on selling medical supplies and equipment—including incontinence products, DME, enteral feeding, point-of-care testing, and other healthcare solutions—through proactive outreach and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell company products to HME customers via phone and electronic channels
- Generate new business through cold calling, prospect lists, and win-back accounts
- Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts and recover lost customers
- Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on industry trends and vendor offerings
- Prepare quotes, negotiate sales transactions, and provide clinical product support
- Educate customers on business tools and analyze sales history to recommend solutions
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience:
- 2+ years of sales experience preferred
- Skills & Competencies:
- Adaptive, solutions-based selling approach
- Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid WFH model
- Goal-oriented, competitive, and results-driven
- Strong communication and listening skills with engaging phone presence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and
- Ability to articulate value propositions including GPOs, PHD, and connectivity platforms (e.g., VGM, Brightree, Scan Manager, EDI systems)
- Positive attitude and workplace resiliency
