As the company's strategic hub in North America, the Los Angeles branch will support the company's global expansion strategy and enhance its global asset operation and management capabilities.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Director of Asset Operations with exceptional strategic thinking and execution capabilities to join our team. This role will provide comprehensive responsibility for the company's global digital asset management, operational risk control, and asset performance optimization.

The core responsibility of this position is to ensure the security, compliance, efficiency, and scalability of the company's asset operations, encompassing key aspects such as asset custody, transaction settlement, liquidity management, asset allocation, and performance monitoring.

This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and plays a crucial role in driving the implementation of the company's global asset strategy and enhancing operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

I. Asset Management and Operational Execution

Overall responsibility for the company's digital and traditional asset operations, including custody, transfer, settlement, and reconciliation management.

Ensure the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of asset records, reports, and data.

Collaborate closely with product, finance, and technology teams to enhance the automation and systematization of asset operations.

Monitor asset liquidity, capital efficiency, and asset allocation performance to provide data support for strategic decision-making.

II. Risk and Compliance Management

Establish and maintain a robust asset operation risk control system.

Ensure all operational activities comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and information security requirements.

Collaborate with legal, compliance, and information security departments to develop auditable and traceable asset management processes.

Implement blockchain auditing and data governance mechanisms to ensure the transparency and security of asset operations.

III. Asset Performance and Efficiency Optimization

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for asset operations, such as yield, liquidity ratio, and cost efficiency.

Identify and implement opportunities to optimize capital utilization and operational efficiency.

Leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence technologies to improve asset performance and operational transparency.

IV. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Strategic Support

Work closely with finance, investment, product, and technology teams to support the development of new markets and new products.

Drive cross-departmental communication and collaboration to ensure seamless integration of asset management with trading, clearing, and risk control.

Serve as a crucial bridge between operations and strategy, ensuring alignment between company financial goals and execution.

V. Team Leadership and Talent Development

Lead and develop the core asset operations team, fostering a high-performance, data-driven, and accountability-oriented organizational culture.

Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across regions.

Establish a professional capability system encompassing blockchain operations, smart contract auditing, and DeFi liquidity management.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in asset management, investment operations, or financial management, with at least 8 years in a senior management position.

In-depth understanding of digital assets, blockchain technology, DeFi, and the crypto financial market.

Practical experience managing multi-regional asset operations and large-scale asset portfolios.

Familiarity with risk control, compliance regulations, and internal audit systems in the financial industry.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration; Master's degree, CFA, CPA, or CAIA certifications are preferred.

Proficient in using data analysis tools and performance management systems (such as ERP, blockchain monitoring tools, etc.).

Possesses excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication and coordination skills.

Compensation and Benefits

I. Performance-Based Compensation

Annual Performance Bonus: 20%–30% of base salary, determined based on individual and team performance.

Equity Incentive: Granted annually in restricted stock units (RSUs) or options worth $10,000–$40,000, vesting over four years.

Signing Bonus: A one-time award of $25,000–$75,000 (applicable to key positions and outstanding talent).

Innovation and Contribution Award: Up to $50,000 in cash or stock awards for outstanding achievements in R&D and business innovation.

II. Retirement and Long-Term Savings

401(k) Retirement Plan: The company matches 3%–6% of base salary based on the employee's years of service.

III. Employee Health and Benefits

Comprehensive Health Insurance: Provides medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families; also includes Employee Assistance Program (EAP), annual physical examination, and a fitness allowance of $20,000–$30,000.

Housing and Transportation Allowance: Provides relocation support, commuting allowance, parking allowance, and a housing subsidy of up to $20,000.

Paid Leave: 15–30 days of paid annual leave, plus 10–12 days of public holidays, as well as sick leave and family care leave.

Remote Working Support: Provides equipment and network allowance.
