This is an entry level position within Proposals focused on assisting with assigned duties, as well as learning and understanding all aspects of the Proposal team activities. The Proposal Associate will perform quality control checks and internal audit related functions while project managing deliverables with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Manage all assigned open quote requests.
  • Maintain and store all documents from carriers.
  • Assist with the creation of proposal documents as well as basic data entry of quotes and documents.
  • Participate in assisting the Sales Team in understanding the product provided by the carrier.
  • Assist with explaining the differences between each carrier quoted and learn how to create plan comparisons.
  • Learn and perform a routine benefit analysis (quality control check) on every assigned bid.

  • Learn and fully understand internal audit processes and procedures. of installed Medicare plans for Renewal process.

  • Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.

  • Possesses entry level knowledge of subject matter.
  • Must be able to perform under a tight timeline; time management is critical.

  • Works in a fast-paced environment in tandem with the Sales Team and other functional areas as needed and/or required.

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have good organizational, time management, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Any Health Insurance Certificate or Certification

  • 1 year of experience with Medicare Insurance

  • 1-2 years of experience in the Insurance Market

  • 0-2 years of successful experience in Proposals

  • Firm understanding of the Group Insurance market
