A Day in the Life
Working under the leadership of the National Sales Director of Sustainability, this
US Sustainability Sales Program Manager
position will be responsible for developing and executing an enhanced Nellcor Pulse Oximetry Sustainability execution strategy to accomplish the revenue and profitability objectives of the Acute Care Monitoring (ACM) Operating Unit. You will own strategic partnerships with several service and value chain partners and collaborate with the ACM commercial organization, ACM operations, ACM Finance, and other functions across the organization.

We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serves as a Sustainability expert to drive sales of our sustainability solution offerings.
  • Owns day-to-day Sustainability partnership management.
  • Negotiates large contracts and manages contract terms for the life of the contract.
  • Develops, tracks, and manages Sustainability partners to key performance metrics.
  • Accountable to internal revenue and profitability metrics and identifies and executes new cost improvement initiatives with the strategic partners.
  • Identifies growth opportunities and implements strategies for market share growth.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with all key Sustainability Strategic partnership leadership/personnel.
  • Communicates and leads meetings with external vendors and conducts briefings with internal upper-level management.
  • Direct involvement in daily tasks necessary for successful program execution.
  • Is accountable for overall program process, results, and customer satisfaction.
  • Leads conversion execution process to speed time to revenue.
  • Monitors program compliance and works with commercial team to implement compliance improvement initiatives.
  • Aids the sales force in sustainability optimization in key accounts by managing the partners to ensure a consistent and exceptional level of service.
  • Manages strategic partner relationships, program management, negotiations, and problem resolution via analysis and investigation when program modification is required.
  • Develops and maintains a high level of expertise related to the reprocessing market and Sustainability trends.
  • Partners with appropriate cross-functional partners such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing and Finance to achieve Sustainability partnership objectives.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical device sales and market experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of sales and market development experience

Nice to Have

  • Respiratory & Patient Monitoring experience.
  • Market development experience and in-depth knowledge of the US healthcare system.
  • Successful history of complex contracting and negotiation.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of business principles, industry dynamics and market trends.
  • Ability to develop organizational plans and deployment strategies encompassing relevant market dynamics.
  • Proven collaborator in a matrixed sales organization.
  • Ability to lead & embrace changes that are customer responsive & market driven.
  • Ability to build solid business relationships with channel partners and cross functional Medtronic teams.
  • Ability to maintain a highly visible role within the customer base and the business unit leaders.
  • Ability to travel and be flexible with hours of operation.
  • Track record of leading and driving results in complex cross-functional engagements strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivator who can apply innovative thinking to define solutions to business problems, solution oriented.
  • Solid planning and organizational skills and ability to operate independently
  • Exceptional client interaction and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain an ethical mindset and conduct business with integrity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):155,000.00 to 170,000.00

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
