Open Team Member Position

East Dallas Therapy is a small private practice in East Dallas and our ideal candidate would be someone who loves our community and feels committed to helping families connect and grow. We are looking for someone who specializes in family care- someone who works with children age 4 and up and parents. This candidate can also work with adults but the majority of their case load will include kids and families.

We want someone who is ambitious, organized and a self-starter.

In our industry a full time therapist is considered 25-30 clients per week. We expect this candidate to see a minimum of 18 clients a week (once their client load is full).

This position will be one that grows over time into a full client load. It typically takes about 6 months to a year to build a full client load in our practice. We expect our candidates to come with some referral sources.

We are looking for an individual with availability to offer a few late afternoons/evenings a week and Saturday sessions.

Specialization:

We're looking for someone to offer family care. This includes, parenting coaching, play therapy, activity therapy, filial, and special expertise in ADHD. Our ideal candidate has training in play therapy, family therapy and parenting.

Education and experience:

Master's degree in clinical mental health or social work is required.

Licensed in the state of Texas (or license eligible) in psychology, counseling, social work or related field is required.

Candidate must be fully licensed and any of the following: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist

A minimum of 6 months of counseling work experience in your field of specialization is required.
