Job Description:

We are seeking a Retail Technology Expert to lead our retail technology modernization initiative. This role involves assessing the current technical landscape and developing strategies for modernizing retail systems, equipment, and operational workflows.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in retail and logistics technology ecosystems and can provide expert guidance on system interoperability, hardware lifecycles, and equipment performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive evaluation of retail operational systems
  • Assess equipment performance, interoperability, and lifecycle stage
  • Document end-to-end operational workflows
  • Identify opportunities to improve throughput, uptime, reliability, ergonomics, and operational efficiency
  • Benchmark commercial retail and logistics environments to identify proven technical solutions
  • Develop a technical modernization roadmap
  • Define technical requirements and functional specifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with retail or logistics technology in high-volume environments
  • Strong understanding of system interoperability, hardware lifecycles, and equipment performance metrics
  • Proven ability to analyze and document operational workflows
