Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a high level of service in various settings such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet events. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. The Bartender will play a key role in delivering memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and sales transactions with accuracy using retail math and basic math skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
  • Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering, banquet, or nightclub events to meet guest needs.
  • Handle food handling responsibilities when necessary, including serving food or assisting with food presentation.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy periods.

Experience

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
  • Experience in beverage preparation, brewing, or the food industry is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Previous roles involving serving or catering will be considered a plus.
