This leader will drive adoption and enhancement of the CoE solutions portfolio, expanding beyond our strong audit foundation to enable highest-value data and analytics capability for Tax, Advisory, Technology, Benefits & Insurance, and M&A teams.

You will own solution management, delivery, operations, and strategic innovation of the Data CoE portfolio—establishing best-in-class analytics solutions that streamline internal workflows, drive efficiency, unlock new business use cases, and demonstrate measurable ROI and margin uplift across our organization. As a champion for digital transformation and data-driven decision-making, you will transform our internal analytics landscape, establish robust metrics for value creation, and scale adoption rapidly firmwide.

  • Own the Data CoE capability for the enterprise for all CBIZ practice groups.

  • Define and execute a vision for state-of-the-art internal data processing, manipulation, and ETL—including leadership in Alteryx, IDEA, Teammate, RPA, AI-powered analytics, and related scalable platforms.

  • Systematically assess business needs, design new use cases, and launch tailored analytics solutions aligned to evolving practice requirements.

  • Establish Data CoE as a shared operational backbone for client related data analytics across the entire firm, promoting cross-functional learning, process standardization, and technology-enabled efficiency.

Value & Metrics—Efficiency, Pricing, Margin, and ROI

  • Develop transparent pricing, baseline efficiency standards, and detailed ROI tracking for all Data CoE offerings—demonstrating clear value creation and margin improvement for every business unit.

  • Benchmark legacy processes (cost, effort, turnaround) so business units see real savings/impact captured by Data CoE created solutions.

  • Produce, monitor, and present actionable metrics: adoption rates, cycle time reduction, cost savings, productivity gains, user satisfaction, and margin enhancement.

  • Foster a collaborative, innovative culture focused on knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and delivery of client-centric internal solutions.

  • Ensure operational excellence: robust data governance, security, compliance, documentation, and support across all workflows.

  • Consolidate Analytical tools to CoE team reducing the overall spend for tools within CBIZ as a contributor to ROI.

  • Ensure efficient onboarding and support for new analytics tools and workflows, minimizing learning curve for CBIZ practitioners.

Internal Branding & Change Management

  • Develop and execute a marketing/evangelization strategy: promote Data CoE capabilities and successes across CBIZ, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and drive demand.
