Compliance Administrator

Summary:
The Compliance Administrator is responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of the organization's compliance and quality assurance programs. This includes ensuring adherence to SBA regulations and internal policies and procedures. The role requires a proactive employee with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to ensure operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
The salary range for this position is $96,347-$119,471/year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Assist with development and execute facility and organizational compliance programs to meet SBA and internal standards.
- Provide technical guidance and interpretation of compliance standards and policies.
- Conduct periodical inspections and audits to ensure effective compliance practices.
- Review inspection reports and identify discrepancies or areas of concern.
- Recommend corrective actions and best practices to enhance performance and ensure quality service delivery.
- Ensure readiness for annual or formal compliance inspections and support third-party auditors.
- Manage compliance documentation, data, and reporting instruments.
- Ensure timely updates of SBA-related reports (e.g., 8(a) applications, JV agreements, HUBZone reports).
- Maintain JV agreement, Operating agreement, and all applicable addenda.
- Maintain KPIs and key metrics for all entities, including NICS analysis and business activities targets.
- Liaise with the Legal department to support compliance-related JV and entity registrations.
- Assist in drafting serial letters, requests for equitable adjustment, and contract claims.
- Participate in planning and execution of company events and leadership meetings.
- Assist with business license applications and renewals for subsidiaries.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or another related field
- Experience may be substituted on a 1:1 basis
Prior experience in the legal profession will be considered relevant experience for this position
Three (3) years of experience with program development and oversight of compliance programs, or operational experience
- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures
- Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
- Knowledge of business and management principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous paralegal experience
- Understanding of the 8(a) program
- Experience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures
Shareholder Preference:

- Generally, indoors may be subject to changes in temperature and noise levels.
- Limited overnight travel may be required.
Physical Demands (including but not limited to):
Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, and seeing (up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus); walking; bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for up to 4 hours; occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Work performed in a professional office setting utilizing telephone, computer, and other office equipment. Moderate travel is required to shareholder communities, subsidiary offices, and other locations as needed.
