About this Role:
The Staff Services Manager I assists and advises the Division Chief and Assistant Division Chief in leading complex, sensitive program development, policy, and coordination relative to QHED. The incumbent will serve as Project Manager, directing staff through complex projects to effectively deliver on the division's programmatic priorities, including, but not limited to, compliance with Final Rule requirements. The SSM will direct a unit of analysts and perform various duties with a high degree of sensitivity, difficulty, and responsibility, requiring knowledge of cross-departmental operations and the need for confidential capacity.

Statement of Qualifications Requirement?Section
Applicants must include a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for this recruitment. Telework and Salary Information
Currently, this position may be eligible for telework up to three days per week and is required to report in-person a minimum of two days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change consistent with DHCS' Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 – Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.
Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated office and residence subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
