Are you ready to lead a high-performing team focused on resolving complex customer service issues and driving operational excellence? The Registration Resolution Branch is seeking a strategic and results-driven Assistant Division Chief/Program Manager (ADC/PM) to lead the Customer Resolution Sections I and II. This position plays a critical role in shaping the DMV's customer service delivery and ensuring operational efficiency across high-impact programs. Position Overview Under the general direction of the Branch Chief, Registration Resolution, the ADC/PM independently performs complex staff and administrative assignments related to Customer Resolution I and II. The ADC/PM oversees a large team through subordinate managers and is responsible for managing sensitive and complex customer service issues, implementing process improvements, and supporting legislative and regulatory efforts. Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate staff handling complex vehicle registration functions.
• Oversee process improvements and special projects.
• Review and analyze legislative bills and regulations.
• Provide executive-level input on policy development and implementation.
• Respond to media inquiries and handle sensitive customer service issues.
• Mentor and develop subordinate managers and staff.
• Represent the Branch Chief and Deputy Director at meetings and conferences.
