To assist the Director by relieving him or her of administrative details involving correspondence with other divisions and departments and the public. • To perform responsible administrative work assisting the Director of the Healthsource RI in correspondence and scheduling with parties both inside and outside of government.

• To organize and maintain administrative and office management records such as agency decisions and approvals, public meetings and preparations, organizational charts, contact lists, floor plans, and furniture and technology asset management.
• To coordinate and track requests related to office infrastructure with other divisions or agencies as needed.
• To monitor office access and keep visitor records.
• To assist the legal team such as by gathering, producing, and delivering evidence packets in advance of appeal hearings or other related work.
• To assist the finance team such as by reviewing and reconciling purchase card usage, managing technology asset tracking, or other related work.
• To do related work as required.
Required Qualifications for Appointment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CAPACITIES: Familiarity and/or experience with State or Federal Government is required. Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills are a must, as is the ability to work interdependently in service to a dynamic team. The ability to prioritize the right tasks with minimal supervision, and work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, is necessary. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Visio are needed, as is a familiarity with, or an ability to quickly become familiar with, virtual meeting/hybrid meeting technologies. Willingness to learn quickly and an ability to cope with ambiguity and change is critical to this role. Ability to switch from task to task based on team needs and agency priorities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Such as may have been gained through: Some college preferred. Prior administrative experience is required.
