Randstad is seeking a Consultant to provide strategic oversight and hands-on support with report preparation, account reconciliations, and the analysis of complex General Ledger (GL) transactions. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in Excel and adept at navigating large datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the timely and accurate preparation of various financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Lead and execute complex general ledger (GL) account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and ensuring all transactions are appropriately supported and recorded.
  • Provide support in the review of account balances and transactions, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of the financial statements.
  • Analyze and reconcile complex GL account transactions, resolving issues efficiently and documenting processes thoroughly.
  • Efficiently navigate and manage large data sets to extract necessary information for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; an MBA or Master's degree in Finance is preferred.
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and Microsoft Excel skills, including expertise in pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS function is required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly integrate into a client's environment, adapt to existing systems, and work independently or collaboratively as needed
