Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping, particularly in the construction sector. The role involves managing all aspects of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, bill payments, and customer invoicing.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, including knowledge of payroll taxes and human resource matters.
Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Collaborate with other team members to support overall financial operations.
Knowledge of sales tax rules and preparation of sales tax filings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in accounting software Sage 50 as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
