Role Description

This full-time, on-site role is located in Chicago, IL. The Sales and Events Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution, including coordinating with clients, vendors, and staff. They will develop and implement sales strategies to attract and retain clients, ensure customer satisfaction, and achieve revenue goals. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting for new clients, handling event inquiries, preparing proposals and contracts, and overseeing event logistics and setups. Events happen at all times so must be available nights and weekends.

  • Sales and Customer Service experience
  • Cold and Warm call skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using event management software and CRM tools
  • Flexibility to cater to clients' needs and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the hospitality or event management industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field

Compensation

  • Base salary plus bonuses $50,000-$85,000 but really no cap
  • 50% Medical and Dental pre tax dollars
