Ideal Surfaces, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for generating CNC tool paths from drafted CAD drawings and verifying and ensuring the manufacturability of customer drawings. Measuring and calibrating CNC diamond tools with Zoller measuring machine

Responsibilities:

  • Review AutoCAD drawings to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
  • Program Waterjet and CNC tool paths from drafting supplied data
  • Organize physical and electronic documents in electronic folders, as well as Outlook
  • We have Park Industries CNC and Saw/Waterjet Machines
  • Ability to work with AlphaCam Software for programming.
  • We have SlabSmith photo technology for laying photos on the drawings to line up color variations with each piece.
  • Measure tooling with Zoller Measuring Machine. Take diamond tools from CNC machines, dress, and measure to recalibrate to proper sizes.
  • Ability to work in shop with machines at times.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CNC Operation and CNC programming
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret blue prints and technical procedures
  • Experience in uploading, downloading and detailed editing of programs
  • Ability to use measuring equipment
  • Basic AutoCAD knowledge and skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to multitask and work both independently and on a team

We work four ten-hour days Monday through Thursday 6:00 – 4:00.

Salary: $25.00 – $35.00 We are open to discussion upon interview of previous experience.
