DETAILS:
•Location: Lake Forest Park, WA
•Ideal Start Date: December 15, 2025 (flexible)
•Child: 3 year old girl
•Schedule: Monday through Thursday or Friday from 4:00pm-6:00pm for childcare, with occasional flexibility to stay a little later at times if needed (7:30pm at the latest). The family would like 2 additional hours of household help during the week if the nanny has that flexibility. There would be opportunities for additional childcare hours for full or partial days once in a while, if the nanny is available.
•Compensation: $30-35/hr depending on experience and qualifications, with guaranteed hours, paid time off, accrued paid sick time, and mileage reimbursement for driving done on the job in the nanny's own vehicle.
•One year minimum commitment required (with a potential for longer term for a great mutual fit)

The Family:
This loving family of three is seeking a fantastic nanny to partner with Their 3 year old attends preschool during the day. She is a happy, curious child who loves Peppa, Bluey, arts and crafts, music, and books Mom is in the office three days per week, and dad will be in the office 5 days per week beginning in 2026. Both parents will do some travel for work, and the family could potentially offer additional hours on occasional mornings if the nanny would like.
The family has a sweet, friendly Bernadoodle dog at in the home for any nannies with allergy considerations.
The Job Description:
The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for the children.
Typical job duties will include:
- General care including diapers/potty help, and snack and meal prep
- Facilitating engaging, age-appropriate developmental activities and play both indoors and outdoors
- Child's laundry
- Providing safe transportation for school pickup, activities, and outings
- Tidying of spaces used throughout the day including dishes, kitchen, play spaces, etc
- Family assisting duties would include things like meal prep, grocery runs, etc
Nanny Attributes/Qualifications/Requirements:
The family is looking for a cheerful, nurturing, and engaging nanny who has 2+ years of relevant toddler care experience. The family is hoping to expand their family at some point soon, and if their nanny had infant care experience that would be a great background for this role as well.
Their ideal nanny is reliable and proactive with planning enriching outings and activities, has child development knowledge, and good communication skills. The family would like to partner with a nanny who genuinely enjoys working with children, who likes to "narrate the day", and who values being present and engaging with children.
The nanny should be up to date with all vaccinations, including DTaP, annual influenza, and Covid + booster. They should have a valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and a safe and reliable vehicle for use on the job. The nanny should be current with their CPR/First Aid Certification (or be willing to update asap).
Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
