Description:

The Natural Nanny Collective is delighted to represent a kind and active family in Seattle, WA, seeking a long-term, full-time nanny for their curious and energetic toddler. The family also plans to welcome a second child in the near future, making prior newborn experience essential.

Their little one is an inquisitive, artistic, and active child who thrives on routine, loves being outdoors, and enjoys exploring the world through play. He is intellectually curious, loves anything with wheels, and is already advanced in vocabulary, colors, and problem-solving skills.

The family believes in a balanced, healthy lifestyle focused on nutrition, time outdoors, and positive communication. They value a nanny who embodies warmth, structure, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's growth through play, learning, and exploration.

  • Highly experienced — a minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience

  • Organized and proactive, maintaining a clean, tidy home environment and preparing healthy, balanced meals.
  • Patient and calm, guiding through transitions with composure and gentle structure.
  • Comfortable collaborating with work-from-home parents and supporting a screen-free household.

Position Details

  • Duties Include
  • Engaging the child in developmentally rich, outdoor-focused activities
  • Meal preparation with a focus on nutritious, whole foods
  • Maintaining tidiness throughout the day (kitchen, play areas, child's laundry)
  • Managing naptime routines and daily structure
  • Assisting with light household support as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience
  • Newborn and toddler experience required
  • CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
  • Up-to-date on TDAP, MMR, and COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Non-smoker
  • Comfortable with a screen-free environment
  • Strong communication skills and reliability
  • Driver's license required
  • Confident swimmer
  • Open to future travel

Compensation & Benefits

  • $30–$34/hour, depending on experience and education
  • Guaranteed hours
  • Paid Time Off: 2 weeks annually
  • Sick days: Accrued per Washington State law (1 hour per 40 hours worked)
  • Paid Holidays: 6-7
  • Mileage reimbursement at federal rate when applicable
