Duties

• Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
• Supervise and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to foster a positive team environment
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to safety standards
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures across all departments
• Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff appropriately to meet customer demand during peak hours
• Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled and dedicated team
• Oversee restaurant cleanliness, sanitation practices, and overall maintenance of the dining area and kitchen
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with their experience
• Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling costs related to food production, labor, and supplies while maximizing revenue opportunities
• Support catering events or banquet services when needed to diversify revenue streams

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus
• Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising or team management experience in the food industry
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and budgeting principles in a hospitality setting
• Ability to train staff effectively on food handling, safety protocols, and service standards
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams during busy shifts while maintaining high morale
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shift management and operational procedures
• Hospitality management background including kitchen management, food production oversight, or catering experience is highly desirable
• Capable of working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Work Location: In person
