Associate Procurement Operations Specialist:
The Associate Procurement Operations Specialist will execute various procurement activities and manage operational procurement processes. The primary functions of operation for this role include requisition processing, purchase order management, and supplier onboarding. The Associate Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for executing these functions and maintaining detailed tracking of status and completion metrics. An additional responsibility will be identifying and implementing process and efficiency improvement opportunities. The role reports to the Director of Procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute purchasing activities across categories including the processing of requisitions and management of purchase and change orders. Ensure timely processing of transactions to facilitate delivery.
- Provide a high level of internal stakeholder service level delivery, with prompt response and attention to priority requests.
- Implement risk mitigation and compliance for processes, in line with procurement policies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier interactions. Prepare regular reports for management and utilize data analytics to track performance.
Background & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in procurement operations and/or a buyer role.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills to enable smooth processes across internal and external stakeholder groups, including suppliers.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., Workday Financials, Workday Strategic Sourcing, Agiloft, Salesforce and Excel).
Expectations:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing timelines and to be able to reprioritize based on evolving procurement and supplier needs.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to develop, report on and improve the key performance indicators for the role.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or at least 3+ years of Supply Chain experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- On-site role based in Los Angeles, California. (4-5 days per week).
- Must be willing to relocate to the Los Angeles, California area, if not local.
- Flexibility to work evenings and on weekends as needed Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
- Work is conducted in an open office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
The annual base salary range for this position is $69, $75, The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
