Position Summary
The Access & Opportunity Program Coordinator provides essential support in delivering impactful initiatives that foster workplace accessibility, opportunity, and engagement across the organization. This entry-level position plays a key role in coordinating logistics, managing communication, and supporting events and programs that promote access and opportunity across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a mission-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the intake and coordination process for Access & Opportunity programming requests, including gathering key details (scope, audience, goals, timing) and preparing materials for team execution.
- Schedule consultations, events, and sessions; manage logistics including invitations, virtual links, room reservations, and A/V setup.
- Coordinate the distribution of program materials, communications, and post-event follow-ups to enhance engagement and participation.
- Track participation, outcomes, and feedback to inform reporting, metrics, and ongoing program enhancement.
- Maintain inventory of program materials and ensure timely replenishment to support ongoing initiatives.
- Support internal calendars and tracking tools to provide visibility across projects.
- Assist in preparing presentations and templates used by the Access & Opportunity team
- Assist in executing team initiatives and campaigns by creating templates, highlight promotion schedules, and support virtual/in-person events.
- Support engagement through timely responses to inquiries received in shared mailboxes.
- Take meeting notes, manage task follow-ups, and support cross-functional projects as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking information about programming or Spark events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, or a related field or high school diploma and 4 years of experience
- Experience in administrative support, event coordination, or project tracking preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in promoting access and opportunity within the workplace.
