About the Role
As the Project Executive, you will oversee multiple project teams from pre‑construction through project completion, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and timelines. Your portfolio will concentrate on Public‑Sector projects, Healthcare facilities, and Industrial work. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands‑on experience in construction management. You will collaborate closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver projects of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction teams across diverse projects.
- Oversee all construction phases, from planning and budgeting to execution and project closeout.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams—particularly within Public‑Sector, Healthcare, and Industrial markets.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk‑mitigation strategies.
- Hire, mentor, and develop project assistants, project engineers, project managers, and superintendents. Assist with recruiting efforts that coincide with hiring new employees (e.g., career fairs, colleges, recruiting agencies).
- Implement and maintain best practices in project management and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with a background in field operations and project management.
- Proven experience managing complex projects in Public‑Sector, Healthcare, and/or Industrial markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in industry software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and construction‑management tools like Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Procore, or similar platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and organization.
