Overview

We're partnering with a fast growing specialty lender in their search for a VP level BDO. The ideal candidate will have a strong network with in the ABL business and thrives in an independent, deal-driven environment. This is a growth hire, offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to help shape the firm's ABL platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and originate ABL transactions across middle market and/or commercial companies.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with an active book of business
  • Partner with internal credit and structuring teams to evaluate, structure, and close deals efficiently.
  • Represent the firm through networking, referrals, and industry events, driving consistent deal flow.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in ABL origination, preferably from a non-bank or specialty lender.
  • Hunter mindset — entrepreneurial, emotionally intelligent, and driven to build lasting client relationships.
